“Before reaching out to coach Nathan, my fitness background was that I had never stepped foot into a gym before and only had done bodyweight exercises prior. I also have a short Achilles tendon, which slightly limited my ankle movements. After taking a year off from working out, I decided to focus on weight training to gain weight but wanted to learn the proper form for weighted exercises. I decided to get a personal trainer, so I reached out to Nathan after discovering him on Instagram.
In the six months I have spent with Nathan as my coach, I found progress very quickly. Gaining weight was one of my goals, and I accomplished that by putting on 17 pounds (Went from 140 lbs to 157 lbs) in those six months. Ten of those pounds were pure muscle. And Nathan was the architect behind me accomplishing those goals.
Nathan would plan out a workout plan for the month. His workout plans are something that I liked a lot since I knew what I would be doing before coming into the gym. During these training sessions, he showed me the correct forms for all of the exercises and told me what each exercise targeted which muscle group. He paid extra attention to my form when I was doing my exercises to ensure they were proper and fixed my form when it was incorrect.
After each workout, he would ask if I had any questions regarding my health or nutrition/diet. And this is what I also liked about Nathan if you ask him a question and he doesn't know the answer right away, he would research on his own time and come back to answer the question with source in hand, which shows how much he cares about his clients.
Overall, Nathan demonstrates to be a knowledgeable coach, very organized, down-to-earth, and friendly person. After those six months, not only had Nathan given me the knowledge for proper form for numerous weighted workouts, he also helped me gain strength that I never thought I could have achieved. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to either elevate/start their fitness journey.”
